About This Course

OLA MOOC “What OER are” gives the learner an overview of the Open Educational Resources (OER) framework as proposed by UNESCO in the 2019 Recommendation on OER and contextualizes it within the OLA European project.

Within OLA, special value is given to specific competences like Personal, Social and Learning to Learn competence, Citizenship Competence, Digital Literacy and Video Literacy - including the critical and responsible use of digital content, the attention to identifying and not conveying stereotypes.
